How would you feel to start high school with no friends. In the book speak the mc Melinda starts high school with no friends. Entering high school with no friends would be lonely.
All kids have to start high school at a new school but only some kids have to start it with on friends. When kids start a new school they are scared because they don’t know anyone there. There are some kids in the school who have a teacher that they real hate. Melinda had the same issue with her social studies teacher Mr. neck. Mr. neck was a mean teacher. Most kids in school have a teacher they really like. Melinda only liked one teacher in her school the art teacher Mr. freemen.
The book speak is a comedy because it is realistic. The book starts in normalcy by the mc stating high school. The conflict is that she go to a party and she gets asserted. In the end it returns to normally by the man who asserted her getting caught that is why it is a comedy.
Entering high school with no friends would be lonely. That is what Melinda had to go those in the book speak.
